The John Paul II Fellowship was founded in 2006 in Washington, DC, by a group of lay women and men who wanted to renew Christian community and culture. They shared a common devotion to St. John Paul II and his conviction about the inherent dignity of the human person. For the first eight years, the Fellowship hosted events in parishes - talks, art shows, dinners, concerts.
As of 2014, its ninth year, the Fellowship found a new way to serve human dignity in its long-awaited home, the Trinity House Cafe in Leesburg, VA. The goal at Trinity House is to provide delicious food and drinks, but beyond that to touch people with the spirit of hospitality. The warmth and beauty of the cafe is meant to serve people's deeper needs and bring them together to create a culture that is worthy of the human person.
